The Maker Faire, a renowned festival for do-it-yourself (DIY) enthusiasts, took place in Prague on
June 9th and 10th, 2023. This event brought together a diverse range of makers, innovators, and
hobbyists to showcase their creations and exchange ideas.

In the early years of amateur and desktop 3D printing using FDM/FFF technology, the number of available materials was very limited, consisting mainly of a few types of filaments, with PLA and ABS leading the way.

On June 3-4, 2023, the Maker Faire took place in Vienna. It is the largest DIY festival in Austria, and
the event program was designed to cater to all age groups.

Spectrum Filaments offers one of the widest ranges of materials for 3D printing. In this article, we describe three types of filaments based on ASA material.

On 10-11.09.2022 in Hannover (Germany) took place an industry trade fair under the banner of the well-known and well-loved Maker Faire.

The last few weeks have been a busy time for Spectrum Filaments. As part of increasing efficiency we installed another fast production line.

The current situation caused by the COVID-19 pandemic is prompting companies in the 3D printing industry to act quickly. We also do not leave this situation indifferent. Spectrum Filaments has designed a special part that allows you to open the door without using your hands. 3D printed part allows easier door opening using elbow or forearm.

Spectrum Filaments is expanding its product range with two new materials – ABS Medical and PET-G FX120. New materials have been developed for applications in both technology and medicine. The 3D printing of medical components is a complicated matter, and the materials apart from their specific mechanical properties must be biocompatible, which is confirmed by appropriate certificates.
