Prografen PET-G Graphene Light

Prografen PET-G Graphene Light is a graphene-enhanced filament for 3D printing, designed for everyday engineering and industrial applications. It contains 0.5% edge-functionalized graphene flakes (EFG), which gives it better mechanical strength compared to standard PET-G, while maintaining ease of printing and low abrasion. The small amount of graphene enhances the filament’s strength, flexibility, and wear resistance, making it more durable than traditional PET-G filaments.

The filament can be easily printed using standard brass nozzles without the risk of excessive wear, unlike materials reinforced with carbon fibers. Prografen PET-G Graphene Light differs from the Strong version by its lower graphene content (0.5% compared to 5%), making it the ideal choice for less demanding applications.

Graphene is a one-atom-thick material composed of carbon atoms arranged in a honeycomb structure, which significantly enhances the mechanical and functional properties of PET-G. Known for its extraordinary strength, flexibility, electrical and thermal conductivity, graphene is one of the most promising materials of the 21st century. Enriching PET-G with graphene makes this filament ideal for a wide range of applications.
