Prografen PLA Graphene Strong

Prografen PLA Graphene Strong is a high-quality polymer filament for 3D printers, made on the biodegradable PLA material basis. It contains 5% edge-functionalized graphene flakes (EFG), which gives it exceptional mechanical strength, abrasion resistance and flexibility. The filament is designed for precise detail printing at ultra-high speeds without the risk of defects or stringing. Its very high melt flow rate (MFR – 44 g/10min) and low shrinkage allow for excellent dimensional stability of the prints. Additionally, the filament can be printed effortlessly using standard brass nozzles without the risk of excessive wear, unlike materials reinforced with carbon fibers.

Prografen PLA Graphene Strong can be printed at ultra-high speeds exceeding 1000 mm/s, which is unattainable for other materials currently available on the market. The following table compares PLA filaments for high-speed 3D printing:

Filament Competitive brands The Filament PLA HS Spectrum PLA Premium High Speed Prografen PLA Graphene Strong

Prografen PLA Graphene Strong excels in projects requiring high-quality finishes, strength and precision, such as functional prototypes or spare parts. With the addition of graphene, the filament is resistant to abrasion, strong and lightweight, making it an ideal choice for technical and industrial applications.

Graphene is a one-atom-thick material composed of carbon atoms arranged in a honeycomb structure, which significantly enhances the mechanical and functional properties of PET-G. Known for its extraordinary strength, flexibility, electrical and thermal conductivity, graphene is one of the most promising materials of the 21st century. Enriching PLA with graphene makes this filament ideal for a wide range of demanding applications.
