Lately we had the opportunity to take part in Formnext 2021, one of the industry’s largest and the most famous 3D printing industry events in Europe, where you can learn about the latest trends in 3D printing. During this event we presented the latest materials that have been included in our offer.
New materials in Spectrum Filaments range:
- rPLA – environmentally friendly 3D printing filament, created by reusing the recycled extrusion residual waste stream; retains the properties of classic PLA, which is simplicity and printing efficiency,
- PET-G MATT – modified so that it would be possible to obtain matte surfaces of printed object; maintains all the features of PET-G-based classic polymers, i.e., the easy and highly efficient printing, low shrinkage and very good adhesion between layers,
- PET-G FR V0 – flame retardant filament based on PET-G. Since the material is designed according to the flammability standards UL 94 V0, the vertical burning of the printed part takes no more than 10 seconds!
- S-Flex 85A – a modern filament based on TPU. It is characterized by high tensile and tear strength, shore hardness of 85A & resistance to many common industrial oils and chemicals,
- PA6 CS20 FR V0 – a new flame-resistant construction material based on polyamide 6. Thanks to the halogen-free flame retardant used, the UL-94 V0 flammability rating is achieved on ≥0.4 mm thick printed parts. The raw material from which Spectrum PA6 CS20 FR V0 filament is made complies with the EN 45545 standard in the railway industry,
- ABS Kevlar – a structural composite filament based on ABS with the addition of aramid fibers, commonly known as Kevlar; applied modifications led to reduced shrinkage, excellent adhesion to work platforms and reduced material density,
- PC/PTFE – a composite filament based on polycarbonate (PC) with the addition of PTFE, commonly known as Teflon. Provides high mechanical resistance, reduced wear and friction, improved electrical insulation and increased resistance to chemicals and water,
