On June 3-4, 2023, the Maker Faire took place in Vienna. It is the largest DIY festival in Austria, and the event program was designed to cater to all age groups. On-site, we met visitors of various ages, not only adults but also children who showed particular interest in our 3D prints.
During our discussions on 3D printing, we had many interesting conversations where we aimed to provide as many tips as possible regarding the proper selection of materials for the equipment. Additionally, we received numerous valuable suggestions and ideas that we plan to incorporate into our continuously expanding product range. Below is a list of the most popular items from our offerings:
ASA 275 – one of the main advantages of the modification carried out on the Spectrum ASA 275 material is the simplification of printing parameters. It can be assumed that the technical material ASA 275 prints with the same ease as Spectrum Premium PLA. This allows for the production of large models without the risk of deformation after cooling, as well as achieving relatively high printing speeds.
PLA Pro – the popularization of high-speed 3D printers requires the use of a filament suitable for rapid printing. Spectrum PLA Pro is an ideal choice for such purposes. Moreover, PLA Pro filament can withstand high-temperature processing using a heated chamber. After crystallization, the model exhibits increased thermal resistance (up to 85°C) and nearly twice the impact strength compared to standard ABS.
