The past year was particularly intense one for Spectrum Filaments. The company, spreading the popularity of its solutions in the field of additive technology, went on a kind of tour throughout Europe familiarising both professionals and amateurs of 3D printing with its products.
The first city we visited was Munich, where, as every year, the Make Munish event took place. It is a mecca for enthusiasts and amateurs of DIY solutions. From 2 to 3 March 2019, the city was transformed into a place where additive technology enthusiasts from all over Europe could meet and exchange their experiences. During the two-day event, visitors had the chance to visit exhibition stands of popular 3D printing companies, as well as expand their knowledge thanks to dedicated workshops and lecture seminars.
Furthermore, Spectrum Filaments was the official supporting partner of the event.
Then came the time for the Maker Fair 2019 – an event that takes place in locations around the world and is an opportunity for enthusiasts of not only additive technology, but everything that falls under the broad term “DIY” to gather together. As part of the event, Spectrum Filaments visited the following cities:
- Vienna – 4-5. 05
- Berlin – 17 – 19. 05
- Prague – 22 – 23. 07
- Hanover – 17 – 18. 08
- Rome – 18 – 20. 10
During the events, the Spectrum Filaments stand was always an eye-catcher for both enthusiasts of additive technology and those just embarking on their adventure with 3D printers. Spectrum Filaments offers a broad portfolio of materials – from decorative to technical and specialty materials – to meet a variety of requirements.
The year 2019 ended with the participation in the Formnext trade fair (10-13.11.2019), in Frankfurt am Main, Europe’s largest event for companies in the additive technology sector.
At Formnext 2019, 285 new exhibitors from 29 countries appeared, representing a staggering 38% of the total number of exhibitors (740). Of the registered companies, 65% came from outside Germany, including China, the United States, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain and the Netherlands.
At Formnext, the new Spectrum Industrial product line was also presented for the first time, aimed at users in the industrial sector, where materials must meet strict quality requirements. The new specialised material range includes carbon fibre-reinforced filaments and engineering plastics based on PA6 or PET.
The event not only allowed Spectrum FIlaments to reach out to new customers, but also to exchange insights and valuable experience with representatives from other 3D printing companies. The opportunity to meet representatives of so many companies from all over the world is a great motivation to continue working in the innovative and constantly evolving 3D printing industry.
Thank you for being with us and using our solutions in 2019. We hope that 2020 will bring even more opportunities to meet. See you soon!
