Case study

PLA Premium 3D printed computer stand

Our customer’s project was to create a functional computer stand that could be easily placed on a desk or attached to a handlebar mount. The stand consist of three parts, which ensured its mobility and flexibility in use.

For the implementation of the project our PLA Premium in black color has been chosen due to its unique features. This filament is not only characterized by high strength and stiffness, which was crucial for the design of the computer stand, but is also biodegradable, which emphasizes its sustainable nature.

Additionally, the properties of PLA, such as the lack of shrinkage during printing, had a significant impact on the precise reproduction of the dimensions of designed elements. This, in turn, translates into excellent accuracy and compliance with project specification.

The choice of PLA filament from Spectrum Filaments guaranteed the solidity and durability of the product. Congratulations to Sebastian on his idea and wishing satisfaction with the design and creation process of further non-standard solutions!
